What is a Transition Planner?
Our Transition Planner is a structured tool created specifically for military members separating from service (ETS, chaptering, or retirement). It’s designed to help you organize and prepare for civilian life with dedicated sections. It’s your personalized guide for moving forward with purpose and confidence.
Who are the planners for?
Our planners are for active-duty service members, veterans, and military families preparing for transitions like ETS, retirement, PCS, or entering civilian careers. Whether your months away from your final out or just beginning to think about what’s next, our tools are made for you.
What is Open Door Policy?
Open Door Policy is our podcast created to share real, unfiltered conversations about the military-to-civilian transition. It’s a space to tell honest stories — not just highlight reels — and connect with people who understand the complexities of service, separation, and starting fresh.
How do I stay in the loop?
Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @trooptransitions for updates, stories, and behind-the-scenes content. You can also sign up for our email newsletter at the bottom of our site to get early access to new releases and resources.
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in the United States, including U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and military addresses (APO, FPO, and DPO) using USPS. Our goal is to make sure every service member — no matter where they’re stationed — can access our planners.
How long does shipping take?
We ship via USPS with an estimated delivery time of 3–5 business days. Once your order is processed, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
Do you offer refunds or returns?
Because each planner is made by hand in small batches, we do not offer refunds or returns at this time. Please double-check your order before checking out. If your item arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your order, contact us at hello@trooptransitions.com within 7 days of delivery.
Can I cancel or change my order?
We begin processing your order quickly, so we do not accept cancellations or modifications once an order is placed. Please reach out immediately if you made an error, and we will do our best to help if your item hasn’t shipped yet.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We take care in packaging each product, but if your planner arrives damaged or defective, please email us at hello@trooptransitions.com within 7 days of delivery. Be sure to include your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll work with you to make it right.
What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Please review your address carefully before checking out. We are not responsible for packages shipped to incorrectly entered addresses. If you notice an error right after placing your order, email us immediately at hello@trooptransitions.com — we’ll try to update it if the order hasn’t been processed yet.
Do you accept exchanges?
At this time, we do not offer exchanges. All sales are final, except in cases of damage or error. Please reach out to us if you experience any issues with your order.

Will you offer more than just transition planners?
Absolutely. As we grow, we’re committed to expanding our product line to support a wide range of military experiences — not just those transitioning out of service. That includes planners for retirement, chaptering, intra-service transitions, and career shifts within the military. We’re also developing reflective journals and memory-keeping tools to honor every stage of military life, both in and out of uniform.
